I was born on the mission field in Belize and grew up in the Church of the Nazarene where my parents served as missionaries.  In the 80’s, they were mission directors for the Caribbean, here in South Florida. My father, Tom Pound, was the District Superintendent for the Space Coast District, with 17 new churches planted during that time.  I spent my Middle and High School years in Oklahoma where I met Misty.  We married in 2000 and a year later, moved to Miami where I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Trinity International University in Organizational Leadership (2003).  My wife and I came to Miami to serve as volunteer youth leaders at Redland Church and stayed to become full-time youth pastors from 2006-2012.  In 2013, I became the Senior Pastor at Redland Church.  During this time, I earned a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University (2016).

Renew Church is part of a movement of churches under the covering of the Church of the Nazarene for support and accountability and we are launching with the ARC Network (Association of Related Churches) which has helped over 1000 churches launch life-giving churches across the United States over the last 20 years.
